Dear Me,

Since this is the first letter I’ve ever written to you, I feel a bit of pressure. See, I want it to be perfect. As a result, I’ve started over, delayed, and even abandoned the idea for weeks now. Funny thing, isn’t it—how striving for perfection holds us back, sometimes completely distracting us from all that is good and worthy just as it is. And that’s why I’m here, writing to you today. Instead of waiting for the right moment and all the right words—which I know will come with practice—I am going to send this to you now exactly as it is.

Like this very first letter, you are good enough right now. Not only are you good enough, but you are also fantastic. Look at what you’ve done, where you’ve been, and where you are now. Frankly, you really kick ass. I can’t wait to see where you’re going. I am so, so proud of you.

Now, go. Carry on being a badass. And know that I love you.

Love,
Me

P.S. You look great today! ;->
